In My Mailbox and Mailbox Monday – 7/11
I got eleven books. Audible.com was having a $5.95 paperback sale; so I picked up the audio books Ship Breaker by Paolo Bacigalupi and Destines to an Early Grave by Jeaniene Frost. Then I also had to pick up the next audio book in The Iron Druid Chronicles, Hammered. I am absolutely adoring this new urban fantasy series by Kevin Hearne.
I got three e-books for review, all of them through NetGalley.com: The Hair Wreath and Other Stories by Halli Villegas, The Revisionists by Thomas Mullen, and Criminal Macabre Omnibus by Steve Niles. All of these sound really interesting.
I bought four books this week. The first was one I pre-ordered a while back called The Eyeball Collector; I have really enjoyed all of the books in these Tales from the Sinister City and really look forward to reading this one. The other three were cheap/free Kindle books. Hunted by the Others is one that I have looked at picking up off and on and it was free today, The Amulet was another one I have been wanting to read that was free today, and A Happily Ever After of Her Own is something that I have been waiting to buy for a while and I saw the price was going up…so I decided to buy it before it got too expensive.
Lastly I got Bloodlust by Michelle Rowen from the library.
Hope you guys all got great books this week. Also hope you have a happy week of reading ahead.
