Book Blogger Hop: 8/19-8/22
The Book Blogger Hop is a weekly event hosted by Jennifer at Crazy for Books and runs from Friday to Sunday. The Hop is a fantastic way to get your blog noticed more and visit some other cool blogs that you didn’t know about before. Head over and sign up and see what you can find!
Each week a different twist will be added to the hop so that everyone gets to
know each other better so here’s my little bit of information this week.
This week’s question is the following:
“What’s the LONGEST book you’ve ever read?”
(Note: I’m putting one caveat on this question. You aren’t allowed to say the Bible, Torah, Qur’an, or other religious/spiritual text.)
The first book that comes to mind is To Green Angel Tower (Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn) by Tad Williams. This book was 1104 pages long, the other reason it pops in to my head is that I read it all in under two days during spring break in high school.
The second book that pops into my head is Neal Stephenson’s Cryptonomicon; which I read forever…at least it seemed like forever. Cryptonomicon was 1169 pages long.
So those are the two longest I can think of right now 🙂
