It’s the story of a young girl, Allie, who is on vacation in Florida. She falls into the Myakka river and is called upon to save seven worlds, each with different types of animal/fish/crab inhabitants. Each world Allie visits has its own drama, and has names, personalities, and symbolism with a mythological and historical basis. A catfish named Holt and an alligator named Ginott help guide Allie on her quest, but in the end, she and Queen Aditi are put on trial. What can save them with the trial being controlled by the evil stargazer fish, Grahi?

Is it fairy tale or fantasy? Symbolism run amuck or just a story of a girl on an adventure?
