OMG I got quoted in a book!

Okay guys I have been blogging about books, primarily reviewing, for 7 years now.  I get quoted on plenty of author websites.  But imagine my absolute astonishment when:

1. I opened up Sky Pirates by Liesel Schwarz, which I got from NetGalley to review…comes out in late October ya’ll!

2. I browse the endorsements of the book from a variety of bloggers/authors…

3. I almost pee myself when I see that one of the quotes in the endorsements is from my blog.

4. I am super excited, I have absolutely never been quoted in a book before.  I immediately order a paperback copy of the book because it could be a one time thing.

5. I realize it’s kind of a lame quote “Pure fun to read” compared to the other ones.

6. I realize the quote credit is give to my “old blog” Karissa’s Reading Review which was what Hidden in Pages was before I renamed and revamped.

7.  I still bounce in excitement…maybe a bit too excited but who cares!
