I got this story for free on Audible.com a couple years ago. This was a short story released by Audible and Neil Gaiman a couple years ago as a charity fundraiser for Halloween. For each download money was
donated to charity.
The story is about a young man who offers to babysit his girlfriend’s younger brother. The house is spooky and the young man has no idea what he’s in store for.
This was a very well done spooky short story. It has just the right amount of humor, irony, and spookiness and is a good read for all ages.
It’s very short, the audiobook is only 12 minutes long. I think my family and I will listen to it together for Halloween. And, of course, Gaiman reads it…so he always does an absolutely wonderful job narrating.
Overall I really enjoyed it and would recommend it as a great Halloween listen for the whole family!
