“The expedition outside the wall was Eren’s chance to prove himself. But it failed, and the female Titan is free once more! With his squad dead, Eren faces a royal summons. Will Mikasa and Armin have to betray their king to save their friend? And can they discover the female Titan’s identity before she kills again?”
This is the eighth volume in the Attack on Titan series; volume 21 is set to release in Dec 2016. This was a wonderful continuation of the Attack on Titan series.
In this volume we find out the identity of the female titan and also find out something rather eerie about the inner walls that have been protecting humanity. This was an awesome installment with a lot of revelations and some more mysteries, I really enjoyed it!
I continue to like the illustration style and the story. The characters are well done and the story is never hard to follow. There is a nice key at the beginning of the book that shows the cast of characters.
Overall I liked this much better than the last two books in this series. I love some of the answers that were revealed and the new mysteries that were presented. I would recommend to those who enjoy action-packed manga with a post-apocalyptic theme to it.
