This is the third book in the Dark Gravity Sequence. This book does a good job of wrapping up the story but was my least favorite of the trilogy. Spoliers ahead for those who haven’t read previous books in the series.

I enjoyed finding out more about the supposed alien race that was sucking energy from the Earth and exploring Elenor’s powers to connect with them more.

There wasn’t as much adventure in this book as in the previous ones. Most of the time is spent evading the G.E.T. in order to get to the Main Concentrator. It was still interesting to read about just not quite as exciting as the last book.

Additionally the ending felt really rushed to me. There was just so much that happened right at the end of the story, it was a bit mind-boggling. The book is pretty short and made for a fast read.

Overall while this provided good closure to this series it was my least favorite book of the series. There wasn’t as much adventure as the previous books and the whole ending felt really rushed. I would still recommend this series as a whole to those who enjoy apocalyptic sci-fi stories involving alien races. It was a very interesting and creative story.
