I read a lot of steampunk this year and much of it was very entertaining and fun. Below are the steampunk books that really stood out from the others for me.

The Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences by Pip Ballantine and Tee Morris
This was a wonderful steampunk series. I enjoy all the adventure, the wonderful main characters who offset each other beautifully, and the fantastic devices.
Book 1: Phoenix Rising
Book 2: The Janus Affair

The Dark Days series by Alison Goodman
This has been an incredibly fun historical Victorian YA novel. I have really enjoyed this series a lot.
Book 2: The Dark Days Pact

Lady Mechanika by John Benitez
This graphic novel series has been out for awhile. I really enjoyed the detailed artwork, the interesting world and the amazing Lady Mechanika. I look forward to reading more graphic novels in this series!
Book 2: Tablet of Destinies
Book 3: The Lost Boys of West Abbey
