Casey Duncan Series by Kelley Armstrong
I would honestly recommend everyone reads this series; it is just such a well done thriller/mystery. I don’t even usually like thrillers but I was absolutely sucked into this book. The story and characters are incredible.
Book 2: A Darkness Absolute

Cainsville Series by Kelly Armstrong
This is a mystery heavy urban fantasy series that is on this list for the second year in a row. I am enjoying the mystery and all the fae elements to the story. It’s been a great read and I am sad that the series is over.
Book 5: Rituals

Xian-Li Series by M.H. Boroson
One of the best urban fantasies I have read in a long time. I loved the setting and all the research that went into that. I also really enjoyed Xian Li-lin as a heroine, she was a very unique heroine. Additionally the late 1800’s San Fran setting was fun and interesting especially when paired with all the Chinese mythology. This book was very unique and very well done and I ended up loving it a lot.
Book 1: The Girl with Ghost Eyes

The October Daye series by Seanan McGuire
