Wings of Fire by Tui T. Sutherland
This was a fantastic continuation of the Wings of Fire series. I really loved how the Darkstalker storyline was wrapped up. These books are always easy to read, engaging, and well written. I would definitely recommend to middle grade and older readers who love dragons, adventure, war, and magic.
Book 10: Darkness of Dragons

The Witches of Eileanan Series by Kate Forsyth
I thought this was an amazing fantasy novel and a great start to this series. I loved everything about this book including the characters, the world, the writing style; it was all incredibly engrossing and engaging. If you haven’t read this fantasy series yet, and are a big traditional fantasy fan, I would highly recommend it!
Book 1: The Witches of Eileanan

The Falconer Trilogy by Elizabeth May
This has been an amazing fantasy series with both steampunk and fae elements. I love the world and the characters and am desperate to see how things wrap up in the third book.
Book 3: The Fallen Kingdom

The Queens of Renthia series by Sarah Beth Durst
An amazing and imaginative fantasy world, couple with an easy to love heroine made this a wonderfully engaging read. The plot is fast-moving and this book was so much fun to
Book 2: The Reluctant Queen

Lockwood and Co by Jonathan Stroud
I have been loving this series but this book just took the whole series to a new level of awesomeness. This is the fourth year this series has been on my favorite’s list. Stroud does a wonderful job of creating a creepy and creative world with characters that are mysterious and engaging. The story is just amazing and I am so in love with it and very sad that it’s over.
Book 5: The Empty Grave
———————————————————————————-
The Waking Land by Callie Bates
Overall this was a fantastic epic fantasy novel. The writing is absolutely beautiful, the world-building is impressive, and the characters are amazing. This is hands down one of the best books I have read so far this year.

An Almond for a Parrot by Wray Delaney
This ended up being a highly entertaining book and I really loved it. The story has a lot of highs and lows but somehow still comes off as being happy and hopeful. I loved Tilly and the characters that surrounded her and enjoyed the touches of magic throughout. I would recommend to those who enjoy historical fantasy and don’t mind some eroticism in their stories.

Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Leveseller
This was an awesome book that totally surprised me with how much I loved it. I always love books that have a good balance between world-building, mystery, action, adventure, and romance. This book is perfectly balanced and well written; there is also a lot of humor which makes it super fun to read! I will definitely continue on with the series. I would recommend to YA fantasy fans who enjoy action and adventure with their romance.
