“There is no way to write a blurb for this final book without spoiling all of the others. Suffice it to say, mysteries resolve, dragons war, pigeons abound, and Julius must risk himself in ways he never dreamed possible as Bob’s grand plan finally comes to fruition.
But the Great Seer of the Heartstrikers isn’t the only one whose schemes are nearing completion. The Nameless End is coming, and even the machinations of the world’s most brilliant dragon seer might not be enough to stop it. As the world comes crashing down, it’s up Julius to prove what he’s always known: that seers can be wrong, and Nice Dragons don’t always finish last.”
This is the final book in what has been one of my favorite fantasy/urban fantasy series of the last few years. This is an amazing ending to what has been an incredibly creative and engaging series. This is the book where it all comes together and it is masterfully written.
I listened to this on audiobook and the audiobooks for this series are amazing. Adam does a wonderful job with different character voices (and there are a ton of characters in this story at this point) and really makes the story come alive. If you like audiobooks I strongly recommend listening to this series on audiobook.
As plan after plan fails to destroy the Nameless End called the Leviathan that threatens our plane of existence, Julius and crew must ban together with all the magical powers of the world to finally find a way to stop it. However, in the end the cost of pushing the Leviathan out of our plane may be too high.
It was great to see everything come together from the previous books. This book is so creative and entertaining. All the characters are amazing and easy to engage with. The series ends beautifully; all the major issues are addressed and it leaves you feeling hopeful.
Overall this was an spectacular ending to an amazing series. I just can’t say enough good things about this series as a whole. It was creative, unpredictable, engaging, entertaining, and impossible to put down. I loved the world-building, the characters, the action scenes, and the plot. I highly recommend this series!
