“The killer housewife is back! The Schuller family has moved to Cocoa Beach, where life carries on as usual. Josie continues to juggle Tupperware parties, her kids, and a few heads–and things don’t get any easier for the entrepreneur hit lady when her past comes back to haunt her.”
I really enjoyed this second volume in the Lady Killer graphic novel series. This volume sees Josie striking out on her own after her family moves to Cocoa Beach. Josie is approached by a number of people who want to partner with her and has to make some tough decisions.
This book ended on a serious down-note and I am really disappointed to see that there aren’t more volumes released in this series. Hopefully there will be at least one more to wrap things up.
I absolutely love the artwork in here and love watching Josie try to juggle her career and her family. I was a bit disappointed with some of the decisions she made in this volume, but was intrigued by some of the back story around Mr. Schuller’s mother.
Overall this was a very well done continuation of the Lady Killer series. This is definitely an adult graphic novel series (very violent and gory). I enjoyed this book a lot but was disappointed at where the story ended; I hope there are more volumes released in the future.
