“Chise has come face to face with the person responsible for the brutal killings at a nearby churchyard–and to her shock, it’s someone she recognizes from her visions of the tragedy at Ulthar! Appalled by the realization that the alchemist who wrought such horrors is still up to his old tricks, Chise must act to stop him. But in order to control her dangerous powers as a sleigh beggy, she’ll need all the help she can get.”
This is the 3rd volume in the Ancient Magus Bride manga series. This was another excellent addition to this series. I continue to really enjoy everything about this manga.
This volume wraps up the storyline about the black grim dog at the graveyard (with some interesting consequences) and eventually Chise is called back to the mage with the dragons to make her wand.
The illustration in this manga series remains amazing, I really love it. The story is an excellent blend of interesting characters, unique world building, some humor, adventure, and magic. I really love all the elements to the story.
Overall this has been an amazing manga series and I continue to love it. I definitely plan on continuing this series. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys fantasy manga that is more magic/character focused.
