Charley Davidson Series by Darynda Jones
This has been an incredibly fun and humorous urban fantasy series. The characters are amazing and the supernatural elements are really well done. These books are action packed and have me laughing out loud all the time.
Book 12: The Trouble with Twelfth Grave

Boundary Magic by Melissa F. Olson
This was an excellent book in this series and I was really impressed with it. Mainly this book is an investigative urban fantasy but there is a ton of interesting magic in here as well. Additionally, some new and interesting characters are added into the mix. I was disappointed to find out that this was the last book in this series because there is just so much more that Lex could do.
Book 3: Boundary Born

Ordinary Magic by Devon Monk
I really really loved this book. I would highly recommend this series to fans of creative investigative urban fantasy.
Book 1: Death and Relaxation
———————————————————————————-
Cainsville Series by Kelly Armstrong
This is a mystery heavy urban fantasy series that is on this list for the third year in a row. I am enjoying the mystery and all the fae elements to the story. I was happy to see an additional story set in this world.
Book 5.5: Rough Justice

Soul Eaters by Eliza Crewe
Just like the previous books in this series, the story is so fast-paced it will leave your head spinning. This book was impossible to put down and kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I just love Crewe’s writing style…it’s so addictive!
Book 3: Crossed

The October Daye series by Seanan McGuire
Yes, another Seanan McGuire series. This has been an amazing series that has been on this list for many years. The series just keeps getting better and better. I love all the mythology and fae in this book; it’s a beautifully written and intricate urban fantasy.
Book 11: Night and Silence

The Heartstrikers series by Rachel Aaron
This series has been a wonderful balance of action, a twisty plot, great world-building, engaging characters, and awesome magic. I plan on continuing with the series and am really enjoying it! I would recommend to those who enjoy light-hearted urban fantasy.
Book 4: A Dragon of a Different Color
Book 5: Last Dragon Standing

Soulwood by Faith Hunter
This was a wonderful installment in this urban fantasy series. I loved the plot, characters, new creatures, and interesting magic. There is so much that is new and interesting here and I love watching Nell and her PsyLED team deal with it all. I look forward to reading more books in this series.
Book 3: Flame in the Dark

Incryptid by Seanan McGuire
This was an amazing continuation of the InCryptid series. I still love the October Daye series more than this one, but the InCryptids series is nearly as good and has been on my Best Of list for many years.
Book 7: Tricks for Free

Menagerie series by Rachel Vincent
This was a wonderful series as a whole and I enjoyed this conclusion to it alot. I would recommend if you like gritty urban fantasy reads that have intriguing characters and lots of interesting mythological monsters. I am glad I read the series and would recommend.
Book 3: Fury

Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews
This was an amazing way to end the Kate Daniels series! I would highly recommend this series to urban fantasy fans. This is a high quality and creative UF series that is action packed and just very well done.
Book 3: Magic Triumphs

Red Winter series by Annette Marie
This was a phenomenal conclusion to this series. I was incredibly impressed with this book and enjoyed it immensely. I will definitely continue reading Marie’s series as she writes them and can’t wait to see what she writes next.
Book 3: Immortal Fire

The Very Best of Charles de Lint by Charles de Lint
This was an amazing collection of stories by de Lint. He was one of my favorite authors when I was in my 20’s and reading this makes me wonder why I haven’t read him in a long time. De Lint is an amazing storyteller and the author that introduced me to urban fantasy. I highly recommend this collection of stories they are just so well done.
