“Awakening in an ancient city plagued by a twisted endemic – where horrific beasts stalk the shadows and the streets run slick with the blood of the damned – a nameless Hunter embarks on a dangerous quest in search of Paleblood… his only escape from the endless Night of the Hunt…”
This is the first book in the Bloodborne graphic novel series. It kind of relates to the video game but is a different story from the video game. A lot of the themes are the same and some of the characters from the video game do appear, but the story is different.
The premise of the story is pretty straight-forward. A Hunter finds a Paleblood and is determined to save the Paleblood and finally escape the Night of the Hunt.
This was a decent graphic novel. The illustration is well done and easy to follow. The story is straightforward but decent. This is a very quick read.
Overall this was a good graphic novel for those who want more of the Bloodborne world. Everything about it is good but not spectacular. It only takes 10 or 15 minutes to read, so keep that in mind when deciding to buy.
