“Jack and Lilly are no strangers to heroics. They’ve befriended dragons, battled giants, and even earned the loyalty of a goblin army. So when they meet Zita the Spacegirl, fresh from her interplanetary travels and seeking their help to face a new threat, they’re more than ready for another adventure.
But the danger growing just outside the door to their world is greater than anything the new friends could have imagined. An army of giants and screeds stands ready to lay siege to Earth, determined to put the age of humans to an end.
With the gate between worlds growing weaker and time running out, can the heroes come together to save their world from their greatest enemy yet?”
This is the fourth book in the Zita the Spacegirl series and the third book in the Mighty Jack series. This was an amazingly fun read just like all the previous books in this series. I love these characters, this story, and the illustration style. This looks like it will be the last book in this series, but I hold out hope that we may see more adventures with these characters!
In this book Zita and Jack come together to battle an army of giants and screeds alike. It will take all of both teams’ abilities to save the Earth from this biggest threat yet.
The illustration is bright and colorful and the story is fast-paced and engaging. There’s a lot of humor in here as well as a lot of action. I love the themes around friendship as well.
Overall this is a great series for kids and adults alike. It’s been one of my absolute favorite graphic novel series. I would recommend to fans of graphic novel series or to those looking for a good graphic novel series to read with their kids. The Mighty Jack series has also featured an autistic main character (Jack’s sister) and this is a good addition to the series.
