2021 Personal and Blogging Resolutions
Personal Resolutions Are:
1. Acquire Less “Stuff”
Rather than have a spending goal per month (although I will still set myself a monthly budget). I would like to just acquire less stuff. I spend a lot of time dealing with my “stuff” and it is not value added time. So, to give myself some more concrete goals:
- Do not acquire more than three new clothing items a month. This includes review clothing items from Amazon Vine. If I acquire something I must get rid of something.
- Do not acquire more than three new nail polish colors a month.
2. Stay Healthy
Again, I am going with a more generic goal here. With specifics below.
- Do at least an hour of exercise (where my heartrate is over 120bpm) a day.
- Do some form of weightlifting at least 3x per week.
- Eat healthy food when I am hungry. Would like to try a couple months eating a plant based diet to see how it goes.
Blogging Resolutions Are:
1. Continue doing more bookish videos on YouTube on different topics
I would like to target doing two videos a week. One being Stacking the Shelves and one being something else (Best books of the month, Owlcrate unboxing, other topics).
2. Read less books this year
I would again like to read even less books this year. I really want to focus on my health, volunteering, family, and growing out my YouTube content.
