Series Info/Source: This is the 10th volume in The Girl from the Other Side series. There are 11 volumes planned for this series. I bought this book.
Story (5/5): There are some huge revelations around how Shiva got to be on the Other Side and of how Teacher got to be one of the “monsters”. This was definitely a pivotal point in the story and I really enjoyed it. I can’t say a ton without spoiling things but I am incredibly eager to see how this series ties up.
Characters (5/5): This book has a much tighter focus on Shiva and Teacher. A lot of time is spent showing us Teacher’s past and it was wonderful to learn his background.
Setting (5/5): This story has moved from the human-filled city back to the “monster” filled Other Side. I have really enjoyed this setting and how the drawing style portrays this setting.
Writing/Drawing Style (5/5): The story continues to move slowly but there are some huge revelations this time around. I really continue to love the quiet fairy tale vibe to this series. I absolutely adore the drawing style as well. This continues to be a favorite manga series of mine.
My Summary (5/5): Overall I enjoyed this a ton and really look forward to reading the final volume in the series later this year. Fans of this series should be pleased with this volume, there are some huge plot reveals and some intriguing twists. I continue to love this world, the characters, and the beautiful and unique drawing style.
